Share your wisdom and stories each month in a facilitated conversation. Engage with other adults who are interested in the challenges and opportunities of midlife. Connect with other adults to stimulate imagination, activity and social engagement.

Perspectives on Positive Aging: Pilgrim at Home
Part of the pleasure of daily life can be paying attention to the way little events in the outer world can stimulate discoveries in the inner life. Kim Stafford will talk about this experience as a “pilgrim at home,” a seeker after beauties, puzzles, stories, and other encounters savored by daily writing practice.

Stafford is the founding director of the Northwest Writing Institute at Lewis and Clark College, and author of a dozen books of poetry and prose.

Perspectives on Positive Aging: The Gift of Aging
What matters in a life? How does one savor life in the face of mortality and the challenges of these tumultuous times?
In 2000, poet and spiritual teacher Ana Callan almost died in a freak accident in her native Ireland. Her near-death experience and long recovery forever changed her and continues to inform her life. Using poetry, Callan will share her reflections on life, death and what matters.

Ana Callan is an award-winning poet. She teaches intimate creative writing classes in spiritual memoir and mystic poetry around the United States and abroad.
